Situated just 19 minutes from Dundee city centre, Ledyatt Trout Fishery sits in the heart of the beautiful Sidlaw Hills at the top of Tullybaccart on the A923 Dundee to Coupar Angus road. From this elevated location visitors can enjoy spectacular views across the Carse of Gowrie, Dundee, the Tay Estuary and the surrounding countryside.

The main loch at Ledyatt is fly fishing only. This provides a traditional and rewarding experience for anglers of all abilities. The water is stocked regularly with quality trout including Rainbow, Brown and Blue Trout. Many fish grow to impressive trophy sizes exceeding 20lbs.

In addition, younger anglers and beginners can enjoy the dedicated children’s pond where bait fishing is permitted. This makes Ledyatt an ideal place for families who want to introduce the next generation to fishing.

The fishery has been carefully developed to ensure comfort and accessibility for all visitors. Fishing platforms have been built around the loch and can accommodate up to 39 anglers. Several platforms are also specially adapted for less able anglers.

Facilities include a welcoming fishing lodge offering refreshments and tackle. There are also toilets and ample on-site parking available for visitors.
